Because the rigidity is much greater than that of ordinary road base, the load on the existing subbase is reduced, the asphalt pavement can be rendered more durable, and its service life can be extended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Developed in France in the 1990s, this mixture has been adopted in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world.
